Independence
No brand, retailer or agency pays for coverage, for a Trend Signal or for a place in a shortlist. We do not accept free products in exchange for coverage. Affiliate commissions and advertising are how the site is funded. Advertising is placed by Google, which means an advertiser cannot buy coverage here even indirectly: we do not know who is bidding, and no report is written, ranked or staged around it.
Sourcing
Every number, date, price, rule or standard in a report must trace to a source listed at the end of that report, and every source must have been opened and read. We prefer primary sources: agencies, filings, standards bodies and manufacturers. Where a figure comes from a secondary report, we name the original publisher. How AI tools are used
Reports are drafted with AI assistance working from the cited sources. A draft does not go out until its claims have been checked against those sources, its sources list is complete, and it passes an automated check for missing citations, unsupported ranking language and date wording that would age badly. AI tools are not used to invent quotes, experts, test results or statistics, and a report never claims hands-on testing.
The byline
Reports are published under the Trend Trail Desk byline, which stands for the site’s editorial team. We do not attach invented names, photos or credentials to our work.
Language
We avoid ranking claims such as “best” or “top pick”, because we have not tested the products. Shortlist labels describe a fit (“Fits small apartments”), not a verdict. We avoid hype words, and we state what the data does not show as clearly as what it does.
Images and video
Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under licenses that allow reuse, with the creator and license credited under each image and on the image credits page. Embedded videos belong to their creators and are played from YouTube; when a video shows testing, the testing was done by that channel, not by us.
Corrections
Send corrections to support@trendtrailmarket.com with the report, the sentence and, if possible, a source. Confirmed errors are fixed promptly and the report’s Updated date changes.
